The Challenge :
Laxmi Ethnics, a boutique ethnic wear brand, needed a Shopify website that balanced traditional elegance with modern functionality. Their goal was to showcase intricate sarees, lehengas, and kurta sets while simplifying the shopping experience for a diverse audience. Key hurdles included organizing a vast inventory with intuitive filters (by fabric, occasion, and region), ensuring mobile responsiveness, and integrating localized payment options like Razorpay for Indian customers.

Our Approach:
I designed a visually immersive store using Shopify’s Dawn theme, customized to reflect the brand’s heritage with a rich palette of gold, maroon, and ivory. To enhance usability, I implemented advanced product filtering, high-resolution image zoom, and detailed descriptions (including fabric care and styling tips). A streamlined checkout process with multiple payment gateways reduced cart abandonment, while a responsive layout ensured seamless browsing across devices.
